Black Screen of Death. [SOLVED]

My problem is that on startup, after the launcher (when TS3W.exe is ran), all I get is a full screen black screen. I have also tried windowing it which it keeps the black screen. I am running the latest version of the sims 3 and I have updated multiple times / reinstalled / reapplied the cracks / even tried some mini images which did not work. I have tried an insane amount of things to get this to work and nothing seems to be helping this one hiccup.

I am also on the latest version of OS X. 10.9.1

I am on an intel i5 iMac, with plenty of extra resources in terms of system req.'s. 

EDIT: I've tried with a number of base games and expansion combinations to no avail. I feel like it is the 1.63 update, but that is only a hunch.

We are all running the 1.63 update with no problems. So, may I know which base game you are using?

I have tried with

RELOADED,
The sims 3(Mac, cracked)
I have Razor 1911 but I haven't tried using that one yet

This has gone on long enough. I am going to try formatting and re-installing the operating system and try to install The Sims 3 on a fresh mac.

Wish me luck! I'll let you guys know if it works.

* If you have previously installed The Sims 3 on your mac, please do a FULL and CLEAN uninstall before proceeding.

1) Install your base game.
2) *Update your base game to the latest version via the launcher's Game Updates tab. [Current: V1.63]
3) Unzip original Expansion Pack files with Stuffit Expander. (Skip Steps 3 & 4 if you have downloaded your EPs in .iso or .dmg)
4) Create .dmg files of the EPs with Disk Utility.
5) Install EPs in order of release.
6) Apply the LATEST Ultimate Fix for Mac. (Use ONLY the two files in the main #Crack folder!)
7) Enjoy your game!

So, I shouldn't be individually patching any of the EP's before Generations?

Yes. Please do not do that. The cracks from all EPs should not be used.

It must have been a third party application disrupting the game in conjunction with applying ALL of the available patches.
