Update error : invalid file found.[SOLVED] Empty Update error : invalid file found.[SOLVED]

Hello! I'm trying to update to the latest patch, I haven't even been able to play the sims much because zombies are spawning everywhere in my game and this patch is supposed to fix that but I keep getting an update error. How do I fix this? I cannot stand these stupid zombies anymore.

Hello,

Did you use the fix to update your game? If you did and still got this error, try the manual patch, then the crack (#crack folder) in the fix.

I did that and now when I try to start the launcher it says
There was an error during startup. Please see the Log for more details Wat.
So I'm going to try the manual patch now
