SIMS 3 GAME LAUNCHER..WILL NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING Empty SIMS 3 GAME LAUNCHER..WILL NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING

My launcher stopped downloading for me just today....I haven't added any new EP's or SP's or worlds in the last 24 hrs....I was trying to download a few CC items. I have never had a problem before but all of a sudden I can't download anything. Let me take a moment to say that it also took me like 4 tries to uninstall some content. It is only like 8 items I am trying to download.. I have deleted DCcache backups and even a file called "missing something" out of the DCcache folder. I tried downloaded the items one at a time all I get is a black screen, and then it sayd sims 3 is not responding... any ideas what may be cause this?

Hello,

You could try closing unneeded applications before you start installing items, give the program a higher priority with task manager, or try an alternative.
