Game keeps asking me to insert Disc.

The cracks that come from the games : I reuse them and put them in the game folder for the Sims 3 - Computer folder, not documents. It'll gray out certain ones until I put "Base game" crack back into they all glow away. But then it says Please insert disc for Into the Future

Usually, there's not much behind this "apply the Ultimate fix"-thingy; and experience usually tells me that this error is due to the fix not being correctly applied.


First of all, completely **** down your anti-virus program. Also, if you use the "NRAAS NoCD" mod, please remove it now.

And do the steps from #2 to #4 (if you already downloaded the 1.67 patch, then you don't have to re-download it of course). Please follow these steps as precisely as possible.

Pay attention to step #4 in particular. When you paste the #crack files from the Ultimate fix into the base game location, you also have to OVERWRITE all existing files. This means, just choose "copy and replace" for all files, when you are prompted. This will delete all of the old files, and put in the new ones.

Then make a shortcut to the desktop from the TS3W.exe file. Use that shortcut then to start the game.

That's interesting...re-downloading the game shouldn't be necessary, but OK. And I assume you also did the "steps from #2 to #4" I mentioned ?
