The end of Twallan's mods ?

As most of you have noticed, the amount of time I have been able to allot to my work on the Sims has been steadily decreasing over the past few months. I had hoped that my interest would once again be piqued over the holidays, however unfortunately that was not the case.

So rather than continue leading you all on as to when/if I will ever complete any further projects, I have decided to end this grand thought experiment as of now.

With that, I would like to thank you all for making my time in the Sims 3 world a satisfying experience. Shout outs to SimAd, Trif, TheISZ, and all the various contributors who have made this project entertaining.

As a parting gift for any interested modders, here is the full source for all my mods : (...)

Feel free to pick them apart as you see fit, or release them yourselves with any modifications you wish (though you may want to change the names to avoid any confusion).

It's possible that the work on the mods will be continued by others, but as of now, that seems to be written in the stars.

Sounds good, for the beginning at least. But here's (still) a word of warning from me: do this at your own risk.   Especially right at the time when new patches are released, it does take a while until mods have been properly tested. So it might be a good idea to wait a little more while with that.

I guess there is something positive about patch updates that don't fix much: it's (usually) easier for modders to release working updates of their mods then.

All 1.66 mods work for 1.67 too, except ErrorTrap and UntranslatedKey. Also, invalidusername (see above) tested the mods, and they seemingly work for her.


So yes, you should be able to update and use the mods. But still, I personally will wait another while with updating, just to be safer.
