In game sims 3 Problems

Ok so last week I updated to the newest patch and it messed something up so it wouldn't work. I uninstalled everything and re installed it and when I start the game and get to the screen to pick a town I don't see anything. I can't create a new game, the options menu wont work, and im stuck there and have to close it do been doing this for about a week.

Nevermind I reninstalled the games and followed the ultimate fix and added the patch but I took out into the future this time
