Tried everything but still Error during startup

Same problem as this one...

But still confused about the crack if i should copy it or not!

After downloading and installing the base game and expansions that i want i get an error from the sims 3 launcher "error during startup...see log for details." Then i tried starting the game directly it says "service initialization failed 0x0175dcbb.

I followed the exact steps on how to install sims 3 correctly thread. (Install base game + expansions (WA,A,LN,P,G) downloaded and applied manual patch, copied the #crack ONLY from the ultimate fix to the EA/Sims3/Game/Bin thus ignoring the other crack folders.
I tried the registry error fix that solved the problem for most of the people but still no luck.
Tried adding all .exe for sims 3 + exp to dep list.
Tried adding all .exe to firewall exception list.
Restarting PC everytime i try to change anything.

EDIT: Tried reinstalling base game with or without any expansions, applied manual patch and still error during startup.

Did you place it via. My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin ?

If so that is incorrect, I had this problem too.

Go to (C:)/ProgramFiles(86x)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin and place the # Crack in there.

That might solve this issue...

Yes i placed everything in the correct directory. Not in My Documents because there's nothing in there but in C:/Prog filesx86/Ea/Sims3/Game/Bin.

I think the reason behind this is due to the manual patch. I tried installing the base game without applying the manual patch and it didn't happen. Then i applied the manual patch the error occurred.

Yes of course. Crying or Very sad

1. Installed Base game, world adventures, ambitions, late night, PETS, GENERATIONS. As long as i have these following expansions (pets and generations) it would be fine.

2. Installed the TS3_1.67...update. Success

3. Copied the TS3W and TSLHost from the #crack folder of the ultimate fix to the sims 3 directory where the .exe is located. (C:/....game/bin)

4. Opened the launcher and Facepalm

. Still the same error.

Click the massive G4TW logo at the top to take you to the homepage, then the black box at the top, in the corner it says log in. Or if you go to the bottom of the page, it says 'Join' and you can do it that way!

From a technical point of view: you need to have at least one of the following expansions/stuffpacks installed, in order for the Ultimate fix to work:

Into the Future, Movie Stuff, Island Paradise, University Life, 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations

Next, look at the video here:

Try the solution in that video. If your Windows is a 32-bit version, then the registry location is a bit different, than the one shown in the video:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Sims

Next, please re-do the steps from #2 to #4 in the following guide:

Experience usually shows us that many people underestimate applying the latest patch + Ultimate fix (doing steps from #2 to #4 from that guide). Please, make sure that you actually OVERWRITE the old files in the base game location, when you paste the two files from the #crack-folder of the Ultimate fix there.

There really isn't much behind that guide, but let's see. Another thing to keep in mind, although, it shouldn't be necessary that often, is to de-activate the anti-virus software completely, and then re-applying the Ultimate fix (= step #4 of that guide).
