Everybody FREEZE!
THIS IS A STICKUP!
...
In all seriousness, I'm getting some weird 'Freezing' in game. Everything just stops, but animations continue. Fairy wings continue to flutter, waves continue to lap at the shore, fires continue to crackle, and trees continue to sway. I can't control time, my sims, open any menus... Anything. The game is pretty much unresponsive, but without the graying screen and with animations. This lasts anywhere from ten seconds to a full minute, increasing in time as I play, as well as frequency. It's gotten to the point that my Sims 3 game is unplayable. I haven't installed or changed anything that I'm aware of that could cause this, and my Drivers are up to date, and I've seen people on the Sims 3 official forums (Unanswered, or I wouldn't be here!) so I know it's not an isolated incident.

Hello,
Assuming your computer is actually strong enough to handle the game, here's a few things to consider:
Just to make sure: have another look at this here and (re-)do the steps from #2 to #4: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly
Now, have a look at this other topic here and do all steps: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t857-the-sims-3-crashes-freezes-to-desktop-fix-updated-on-7-01-2014
If your Windows is a 64-bit version AND if your computer has 4 GB of RAM or more, then focus on step #3 in particular. Download the "4 GB patch" from here. After downloading, double-click on that 4 GB patch and in the next prompt, choose the TS3W.exe in your base game location. Usually, that's C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Wait for the message "executable successfully patched" and close the 4 GB patch.
Note that this method will not work if your Windows is a 32-bit version and/or if your computer has fewer than 4 GB of RAM. After doing that, go on with the rest of the steps. These instructions should be pretty self-explanatory.
Now go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete all contents inside the Currentgame.sims3 folder. Also, in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the following stuff:
-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"
Re-start the game then and see if anything improved. You may even turn off your anti-virus program completely before playing The Sims 3.
Good luck !

Re: Everybody FREEZE!
After doing all these steps... There's still no improvement. The game runs fine for about fifteen minutes, and then then the freezing starts right back up again. I know for a fact that my computer can handle the game, as I've played it for well over a month with zero issue.... Until now, any way. My computer is indeed 64-bit, and I used the 4-Gig patch after doing the re-install of the ultimate fix. While it loads faster, it's still giving me freezes... While I do thank you for your help, do you have anything else you can recommend?
I'd have replied with a quote, but as my account is new, the site wouldn't let me

Re: Everybody FREEZE!
i got that problem few weeks ago too! the rain animation still playing but my sims and the time stops! After some thoughtful check, it actually caused by an outdated mod.
Try checking your mod! Some may conflicting with other, sometimes it's can't be detected by Delphy's Dashboard .
hope this helps!

Hello,
Does this happen to a specific save or all of the saves? Check to see if the problem occurs after creating a new save.
Can you also tell us your computer's specifications, namely, RAM, processor(s) and graphic card(s)?
