Sims 3 freeze

installed the
sims 3 base game on a laptop and inputed the last fix its crashing and
getting out to desktop ,i tried several times,first it stooped after
Reticulating 4d Splines,then after Expanding Horizons then after
calibrating Social Distance



Laptop is HP CQ60
AMD Athlon Dual Core QL-60
1.90GHz
64 BIT WIN VISTA HOME PREMIUM
SERVICE PACK 2

what u mean by-Mods or Custom Content?

It's anything that you've downloaded from an external website (Custom Content), or that changes the way the game is played (Mods).

Since you don't know what they are, I assume you don't have any.

Do you have any expansions with your game? The fix requires you to have at least one of a few choices. This page has instructions on which ones you can choose from, and, as it's title says, how to correctly install the game so that it hopefully works properly.

so after installing the base game i should install any expansion to start well the game?
