Disc Error after updating patch level to 1.67

hopefully i'm posting at the right place and some1 sees this and is able to help me, i did the manual patch v1.67 but since then i've been getting a disc error message ever time i try to launch the game, i tried the ultimate fix, pretty sure i followed the instructions properly, but nothing seems to work even after copying the files from the fix to the respective folders. so i'm kinda bummed cuz i cant play the game Sad

Even if you say you did that already, re-do the steps from #2 to #4 here:

Keep in mind though that in order for this to work, you'll need to have at least one of the expansions/stuffpacks mentioned in step #1, installed. Good luck !

P.S there aren't many other explanations left. You could try to de-activate your anti-virus completely, and then re-applying the Ultimate fix. But that's it then.
