I am having problems getting my Sims 3 games to work Empty I am having problems getting my Sims 3 games to work

I had to uninstall it because, the game would not allow me to put any new buildings such as a bakery down. The new problem is i download all the games  in the order they suppose to. I even use the sims 3 from here. Now the problem is it would down load and i would get to the screen where i pick a town to live in and all  it is blank. I cant pick a town, it all is blank.
