Sims Won't Change Clothes. [SOLVED] Empty Sims Won't Change Clothes. [SOLVED]

I am having a issue with my sims changing clothes. I haven't installed any new CC or mods except for NRAAS story progression. I didn't have any issues with it but, for the past two days when trying to play they refuse to change clothes. I removed the story progression even though I didn't have any issues with it.
They do everything else but when it comes to changing clothes or going to bed they just stand there scratching their heads and so on. I tried switching to a new family and
same problem. Any suggestions?

In My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the following stuff:


-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

Re-start the game then and see if anything improved. Good luck for now !

I tried that first but, didn't work. So I was thinking if there was anything new I installed lately. I remembered I installed a mod and a couple of items. I ran the items though the TRS rig fix program and then restarted the game and it's working again.

So you did install some CC. Smile  Just out of interest: are these items from the official store or are these fan-made (third-party) items ? Usually, this shouldn't happen with store items, not even the older ones.

Also, do you have any other questions ?

There were a few clothes items that I downloaded 3rd party so I think that was the issue. Working great now :-)
