SIms 3 generations problem

I updated my launcher to the latest version and when I played the game, a pop-up appeared saying "No game disc found! Please insert The Sims 3 Generations game disc before proceeding."
What should I do?

Thanks! I applied it and the launcher worked! But now the new problem now is when I play, first it will work fine but when after a couple of minutes playing, the sims will just suddenly crash and I had to start over again. It always closes by itself. I don't know what's the problem though I applied the fix already.
