Can't get free The Sims 2. [SOLVED]

couldn't find a section for ts2 so I ask it here, hope it's o.k.
received the mail from games4the world and after I did everything here

I couldn't find the way to get the sims 2 collection.
it sais here that it will be available for "Everyone who has purchased a digital copy of The Sims 2 from Origin or the EA Store".

doe's it means that the whole thing isn't relevant to those who didn't purchase it ?

found the way to download the collection( it was some technical problem) .
the downloading process is very slow.

If you already have an Origin account, EA is currently (for a short period of time !) giving away the "Ultimate Collection" for FREE. See this post here:

The offer only runs until July 31st, and it doesn't matter if you already purchased the Sims 2 before. If you're interested in that, you might want to check it out.

My interpretation of this is that you can redeem this free code "I-LOVE-THE-SIMS" or whatever it is exactly, until July 31st, latest. Until that date, you must have re-deemed the code, or you will have to buy the game again.
At least I strongly assume you can play the game afterwards, if you re-deem the code in time.
