Origin Base Game - Cannot use crack for Sims 3 University Empty Origin Base Game - Cannot use crack for Sims 3 University

I have an origin bought base game. I've cracked and installed my Sims 3 university correctly (to the folder location C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin) and it wouldn't work. The game begins to start up and then the screen goes black before entering the game at all before crashing.
I tried using the FIX correctly (for generations and after that expansions) but it didn't seem to "fix" anything. I got an error at the game launcher saying "No game disk inserted". I also noticed that after cracking my game the original base game has decided that it wants to redownload completely and is unusable from the Origin application.
Any help to resolve this issue would be extremely appreciated.

Please, you do not need anything inside the "Ultimate fix", besides the folder named #crack. Ignore all other folders. And ignore the "instructions" inside the Ultimate fix too.

Just re-do the steps from #2 to #4 here, and you should be fine:
