Island Paradise Issue - "installed an unofficial game mod..." Empty Island Paradise Issue - "installed an unofficial game mod..."

Hi there,
I just installed The Sims 3 base game as well as Island Paradise, strictly following the instructions in the guide for installing TS3 and expansions properly. I did both the manual patch and the ultimate fix. 
When I open up Island Paradise, I get an error in the launcher saying: "Error running scripts." If I then click continue, it'll open up a completely black screen, then minimize with an error screen saying "It look like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3.  We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updates versions of them - otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs. Do you want to quit?"

Help please!

Hello,


Most likely you used an incompatible crack for the game. Are you absolutely sure you did the steps from #2 to #4 here, correctly ?

Good luck ! And do the steps very carefully...you ONLY need the folder named #crack, inside the Ultimate fix. You copy and paste the two files inside that folder, to your base game location, and you OVERWRITE all of the original files.
