Sims 3 has stopped working Empty Sims 3 has stopped working

Hello,

I've tryed to play sims 3 in the past but I keep getting this error while playing... Sims 3 has stopped working..
I already tryed moving the .exe in the DEP... And I got enough space left on my harddrive.. 

please help, thanks..

Even if you say you did all the steps from that "crash/freeze"-guide, plase have another look at my post here, and do ALL the suggestions I made there:

I think I know my problem now... I only had sims 3 + world adventures and ambitions.. but it says I need atleast one dlc after generations.

Can you confirm this could be the problem?

Yes, you ALSO need to have at least one of the expansions/stuffpacks from "Generations" onwards, too. See step #1 here:

Yup it is working fine now... well almost... Sometimes it lags for a moment..

Do you have any idea how to fix the lag? It's not my graphics card because it's fine
