The Sims 3 Manual patch and Ultimate Fix help. [SOLVED]

Hi there, sorry if someone already made a thread about this. I'm very new to all of this.

So basically I have downloaded and installed The Sims 3 base game and all 11 expansion packs. I did a bit of research and it's recommended that I installed the expansion packs in the order they were released in order to avoid installation errors and problems. So I did and everything works fine as I tested after installing each expansion pack and every time I installed the expansion pack, my sims 3 was updated with no error whatsoever.

I have downloaded the manual patch and ultimate fix from your website but I'm confused how to use them properly and afraid I would stuff it all up as it takes very long time to download, install, update and test everything. So my question is if everything works perfectly fine do I still need to apply the manual patch and the ultimate fix? Thanks for the help. Every help is appreciated

Short answer : yes. You need to patch. That's what patch are for
Now, the ultimate fix : it helps to play the game, unless you have cds, which I doubt  So you'll need it anyway.

It ain't complicated you'll see. Just follow the guide and you'll be fine
