SIms 3 crashes while i have tried everything

Hello..my game still crashes even if i have tried everything you said on this:

To be more specific my game crashes every time i open ''create a sim'..i am creating my sim for less than 5 minutes,then freezes and finally crashes!
Could you help me please?

My system-requirements are:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz
2.7 GHz Performance Rated at: 6.75 GHz CPU SPEED
3.1 GB RAM
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (build 6000), 32-bit
GeForce 9600 GT VIDEO CARD
253.6 GB FREE DISK SPACE

I have to say that i have installed these expandion packs too:
The Sims 3 EP01: WORLD ADVENTURES EXPANSION
The Sims 3 SP02: FAST LANE STUFF PACK

A 32-bit operating system and less than 4GB of RAM aren't optimal for The Sims 3, but let's see. Please do everything I mentioned in THIS post here (except the thing with the "4 GB patch" - that won't work in your case, so skip that step):

Also, are you familiar with the tool "GameBooster" ? Can you look on Piratebay for it and then install that program ? It is useful for freeing up system resources, to improve gameplay, and using it should be self-explanatory. But let me know if anything is unclear to you.

thank you very much for your answer..still crashes every time i try to create a sim.. Crying or Very sad

I did everything you told me on that post: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t17208-sims-3-has-stopped-working#118442,except the steps on how to install the sims 3 correctly cause mine is authentic.

In addition I downloaded the gamebooster...IObit Gamebooster v.3 premium..
But I am not sure how to use it..i would be glad if you tell me. :newfag:

Oh and i have a question:is normal tha fact that even though i delete these files

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

from MY dOCUMENTS/Electonic Arts/Sims 3,they return every time i restart pc?

This is the guide from "Razer GameBooster". And while the program "looks" a bit different from the IOBIT GameBooster, it does the same things, basically. I'll now show you the thing in IOBIT's version of the GameBooster:

Basically, in IOBIT under "GameBox", find a button called "Configure", then you will get to the screen I showed you. Mark all the processes that you want to disable (I can't really tell you what exactly to close, since that's different from case to case - it would be a little bit better if you downloaded and installed the GameBooster from razer, see my above .pdf link, because it has an option for "recoomended settings, in case you don't know what to do...).

After you marked all the stuff, click on "Apply", and that's it then. You can close the GameBooster window if you want. Now...right-click on the game shortcut you want to play (e.g. on the desktop). Look for the option "Run with GameBooster", and select it. Before the game starts, you'll see a small window that "GameBooster is boosting your system" - and then the game starts.

Good luck, and let me know if I should go into more detail; I'll try my best to explain it even more/better, if necessary.

i apologise for being late..
I did everything you told me but every time i built or buy something it crashes..i mean,i can build a house for example only for 1 hour and then the game crashes! Help

Hello again,

Look again at my initial suggestions, and there look about the thing with deleting the cache files and the Currentgame.sims3 folder. Please delete that stuff again, and re-start the game. You should try saving in short intervals, like every 20-30 minutes (real time). Then exit the game after an hour of gameplay.

After a short pause, re-start the game then. That's the best thing I can suggest for now. Good luck !
