Sims 3 Generations please insert disc 1 error

I tried to install generations on my friends' computer and I know I had to have done it right because I've installed almost all of my EPs & Sps from the games4theworld website with no problems, but when I opened the rar file it looked like this:
And none of the files were in folders. Can someone help me figure out whats wrong please?...

Hello,
Your third (last) screenshot doesn't give a direct clue, but things like that are almost always due to improper extraction of .RAR contents.
So again, create another empty folder, and re-extract ALL contents of that "Generations" .RAR-file, into that empty folder. Re-start the installation then from said folder. Good luck !
