Custom content Empty Custom content

Yesterday I downloaded tons of store content from this website. I tried installing it and when ever i load into the game it doesnt show. Then when I exit out of the game or launcher and reopen the launcher it isnt under the installed tab anymore just under the downloads. I reupdated my game and did the sore fixes and ultimate fixes. IDK what to do.

Okay so I did what was said to do in the chat with carlos and it still didnt work.

Have you tried using CC magic? It's a tool for installing custom content in your game in case you have any problems. You can download it from here: http://modthesims.info/d/461888

I still believe you did something wrong in the process, but OK. At first, again, go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, and delete the following stuff:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"


If you can't get it working with the launcher, please use CC Magic, as "qax" mentioned. See this topic here for a guide:

With that method, you can install ALL your .sims3packs "in one turn". Good luck !

Yea i did that about 3x , I downloaded ccmagic and now my game is saying no game disc.

Hi,

If your game is saying no disk, chances are some wires that shouldn't have been crossed were crossed when you applied the Ultimate Fix (whether it was once, twice, whatever)!

Could you please re-do steps #3 - #5 here?
