It just wont start/Load...PLS HELP!!! [SOLVED]

hello,
 i am having a problem with my game. I wanted to try Into The Future. I downloaded the game and followed instructions on how to install, ho to update to the most recent patch and all. 

i followed these instructions:
Installing sims 3
the installation guide
mac guide


on the mac guide, when i get to step 3, the sims 3 into the future installer does not open up in my game...I copy and paste everything i need to copy/paste and i have watched the video on youtube but it still wont open. My game is already patched to version 1.67. 

What do i need to do? i have a Macbook Pro- MacOS X Lion ver. 10.7.5

Since the the Into the Future EP didn't pop up, I believe the .dmg file you created maybe corrupted during the process.
I advise you to remake the .dmg file, and try it again~ Thanks
