Sims 3 not updating from 1.55 [SOLVED] Empty Sims 3 not updating from 1.55 [SOLVED]

I have sims 3 on a mac and when i go to do the new fix it just says that my 1.55 is up to date. How do i get it to update?

Hello,

Have you tried updating via the manual patch?
The Mac version can be downloaded here.
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t3597-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v167-fix-manual-patch

After installing, please try the fix again.
