Can't start new game [SOLVED]

I finally wanted to start play this game but after I load it, it won't let me start a new game at all. It won't even let me select a town at all to play in. I updated it once but then I fix the problem by putting the crack back in. I saw somebody else on the site that I got this on have the same problem. What should I do?

Please check all the steps here: How to Install The Sims 3 Properly

After that, let us know if you did everything or, if you didn't, that may be the reason you are having this issue. I have read a post a few weeks ago about this issue but I don't remember the solution that worked back then and I didn't also find the original post, sorry.

I have done this with all of ur sims3 downloads. Just this time didn't work.

If the problem is that the options and Town list are blank, you can find a possible Fix here:

But the issue is probably caused by outdated cracks. Did you make sure to re-download the Ultimate Fix before applying it? Please, do the steps 2-4 here again:
