Sims 4 freezes whole computer. [SOLVED] Empty Sims 4 freezes whole computer. [SOLVED]

i have the same problem i played the game last wednesday and the next day i could not play it anymore my laptop is just a month and i have windows 8.1
i don't know how it is with other games because i don't have any more games on my laptop 

i deleted the whole game and installed it again and that does works but after that i did not have the fixes and can't get them installed.

does anyone have an idea what i can do.
i really want to play it again i love this game

I split your post from the other thread. Please ALWAYS open a new topic when you have a question here, instead of posting under someone else's thread. Smile


About the problem, you simply need to download the "Get to Work" expansion, and the Ultimate fix too. Apply Get to Work first, and THEN the Ultimate fix. After that, see this here:



Sims 4 freezes whole computer. [SOLVED] Dve16uc8nnw2



You can find this option in Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings. Choose the setting that I marked with an arrow in the screenshot. The click on "Apply and then on "OK".


Now re-boot the computer ! After the re-boot, play on and see if anything improved. Good luck !

ok i re-installed the game and it works again put my downloads back and it still works.
but after i put the tray folder back with my libary items it did not work anymore so after deleting that again it finally works
