Sims 3, small freezes? [SOLVED]

I googled a bit and I could only find one post that had the same problem as i did (youtube).

Let me just drop some info down here so that you know what you're dealing with.

Comp specs.
Proc : I7-2600K
Gcard : GTX 580
RAM : 8 GB

That's the important hardware.

As for the game :

I have all the expansions and "stuff" packages.
I used the Ultimate fix (worked like a charm).

And now to the problem itself ^^

The game runs fine, no lag no nothing. Ultra speed on feeling nothing at all (not even the small stops that people seem to have on the ultra speed timer).
But here's the funny thing, the game itself freezes up for (between) 5-20 secs, and then it goes on as normal again.
This can happen 2 times an hour or 20 times an hour, it's just random.

I have forced V-sync on, DEP is set to allow Sims 3 aswell.
I looked around a bit and saw that alot of people giving this advice (sims 3 community).

Now even after following the "guidelines" of the S3 community it still failed.
I lowered the full graphical settings to LOW, that did not help either.
I checked my drivers and everything is "as it's supposed to be".

Hmm...did i miss anything?

Oh yeah!
What happens during the freezing thingie is a little bit funny, resetsim does not work, everything comes to a full STOP, except for the water (waves) and the trees.
I can't CTRL-SHIFT-C, nor move the camera from edge to edge with the mouse (the mouse pointer still moves), but nothing is clickable.

I'm not about to mess with this by adding symbols in-between ^^

This is the link I found that had the "same" problem as I have.
As it seems, according to the youtube comments, a couple of people got this problem.
Someone even said ALOT of people, though i have not found any more complaints about this issue.
The fault could be from my end aswell (being bad at googling).

That's actually a very common problem, even on higher end computers. It could be any number of things, from having too many sims in your house, too much cc, or even a routing error somewhere in the town. There's a few mods that can help with a couple of the common causes, but first, do you have any mods or cc?

Ok. Did you read through the post Lady Eldi linked to? It has quite a few good suggestions to help with this freezing.

Yeah i checked that link, i tried the overwatch thingie, didnt' work =/

The game still freezes up for a couple of seconds etc.
I guess i just have to wait for a patch ^^

Well it's not necessarily going to be solved with a new patch. This has been occurring to some people since the game came out, so it's just something that happens. The game is really intensive, even with low settings, and sims and pets do happen to get stuck occasionally. I do wish you luck in getting this solved though, if possible.

I'm gonna do a step by step search on the forums here, hopefully i'll find something that'll sort it out ^^
