EA games download manager error
:newfag: I've installed the sims 3 a long with the rest of the expansions packs. I also set the ultimate fix, but it seems that every time I open the game a sign appears saying EA download manager error, I press okay and ignore it, but when I start playing the window goes down and another message appears saying there's been a problem with the sims 3 and that I have to close it. I've tried uninstalling all of the expansions along with the base game and the ultimate fix, and re-installing but no matter what I do, it doesn't work Please

Hello,
Please download and install the EA Download Manager - Which is now called "Origin".
Now, re-apply the Fix (The launcher can now actually look for updates) and see if it makes any difference.

Well I installed it after I has installed the games and the ultimate fix should I uninstall everything and install origin before I re-install everything once again?

Please post a screenshot of the folder where you copied the Generations/Town Life Stuff crack from the Fix to.

Re: EA games download manager error
Hello,
It suddenly dawned on me that I'm familiar with this problem. However, because I don't use the launcher to start my game it has never been an issue.
Try starting your game without the launcher and see if this solves your problem. It has never given me issues at all except for that notification that there's an error with the downloadmanager at those times that I need the launcher to install custom content or an update.
