Sims expansions show up as Unix Executable files and won't work!
I downloaded the Sims 3 complete package from TPB yesterday and tried installing it, the first time I unpacked the zip file everything showed up as the Sims 3 files and the expansions were perfectly fine. I tried putting them in Applications and playing, but the Sims 3 icon would start up and then disappear again so I applied the ultimate fix.
Didn't go very smoothly so I deleted everything and decided to just start from scratch and unpack again, BUT here comes the issue. Now when I unpack the zip file, it shows the Sims 3 as a normal file but every expansion pack shows up as an EXE file. It looks like this:
I tried doing the Ultimate fix on the base game, doesn't work. Base game itself won't do more than have the icon pop up and then disappear again.
I've succesfully installed the Sims 3 several times before, with this same file that I downloaded from TPB and have used the ultimate fix in the past which always worked.. I don't get what happened here?

Re: Sims expansions show up as Unix Executable files and won't work!
Strange things are happening, when I deleted everything the first time I tried using the Sims 3 uninstaller, it took a looong time so I quit the uninstaller and deleted stuff manually. Just now when I used "Show original" on the uninstaller, it brought me to the original files of the expansion packs, where they're not EXEC files!
So now I put the expansion packs back in Applications, and am trying the ultimate fix again. However, when I use "Show package contents" on the Sims 3 base game app, and go through transgaming all the way to the folder where the expansion packs should be in the base game folder, they're still exec files within the sims 3 base game..
