Can't install Sims 4

When I try and install the sims 4 it won't let me? Do I need to uninstall origin? I turned off my antivirus too so I'm not sure what's up.

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum! 
Did you actually extract the contents of the RAR file before trying to install the game? You should create an empty folder somewhere, drag the files from the RAR to there and only when it finished extracting you need to double click the Setup. Good luck!

It didn't work. Same message as before. I think origin locked it... See, I originally downloaded it two days ago and I didn't move the folders or anything, but I still ended up playing the actual game. Everything was working fine until I started using the gallery. It wasn't letting me use anything from the gallery except the sims I created in the CAS Demo.SeoY wrote:

Sorry, but I'd need more details about your issue. Are you sure you extracted all of the files from the RAR? If you already have the game, why are you trying to install it again? Did you uninstall it, and why? If you did, was it a clean uninstall?

Hello NerfRebelle and welcome,
Please be patient when posting on here. We can't possibly get back to all posts right after they show up.
As for the problem, what anti-virus program do you have ? I'd suggest you actually UN-INSTALL that anti-virus now, and then re-boot the computer. After that, continue with installing The Sims 4 (extract all contents of the .RAR into an empty folder, and then go to the folder and start the setup.exe).
