The Sims 4 Ultimate Fix! [SOLVED]

Omg it's been a while, I actually crashed when I try to load my game(I even tried a new save that didn't work either) I just get the regular the sims 4 has stopped responding. Anyways no update yet here? I just got my mom TS4 and haven't been able to play it at all since we're waiting for this O_O

I allowed myself to split your post from the main Ultimate fix-thread, since I guess a new topic is better in your case. Smile

You should be able to be fine without the latest patch + crack though...let's see (watch out - long post ahead).

Do you have any mods ? If yes, remove ALL of them for now. Next, see this here:

This here is written for Sims 3, but can you do step #2, and apply the steps to your TS4.exe, in your base game location of Sims 4 ? The file is located in C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin.

After you added that file to the "DEP exceptions", try this:
If your Windows is a 64-bit version AND if your computer has 4 GB of RAM or more, then focus on step #3 of the above guide in particular. Download the "4 GB patch" from here.

After downloading, double-click on that 4 GB patch and in the next prompt, choose the TS4.exe in your base game location. Usually, that's C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin. Wait for the message "executable successfully patched" and close the 4 GB patch.

If you don't have 4GB of RAM and/or a 32-bit Windows, forget the step.

Finally, did you add the install location of the game to the exclusion list of your anti-virus software ? And did you ALSO add the download location (folder) for your internet browser downloads (Chrome/Firefox) ? The location where the stuff you download with Firefox/Chrome gets saved ? The latter one is important too, because the anti-virus will also try to delete or damage your stuff right after you download it.

After you also added your download location to the exclusions, pleqase re-download the fix from here, and re-apply it according to instructions:

Oh man thanks! So far it's a mod problem so I've been testing to find out which is the culprit o.o Found 1 so far xD I got a handful to go X_X Pero gracias; voy a escribir pa' tras cuando tenga esto bien Tea 2

So my game is running fine \o/ And it was this mod http://jsboutique.tumblr.com/post/99348014188/jsboutique-male-hair-1-we-really-like-the I let the modder know too thru tumblr. Man I like the improvement of that hair D: Oh well. Ok I think I can help out my mom to get her ts4 > Very Happy

Thank you for letting me know about this (faulty) hairstyle. Smile

This is a (basic) guide on how to handle CC items in TS4. One part of it involves using a folder called "Test", for putting in all new CC items you install. If you notice problems next time you start the game, it could mean that one of the new CC (inside the folder "test") is causing the problem.
