The Sims 2 transferring the game? [SOLVED]

Hi all . My niece has the Sims 2 base game with a few expansions..I came to the site to get the remaining parts to the game and I read that it is not supported by later browsers,so probably not really worth the time..I downloaded the game from ea when they gave it away..so to make this short..How would you go about getting this game for her..can two people be signed into an origin account at the same time..for ex..i can be on yahoo, on my phone and pc at the same time..help please. How would you do it.

Hi there! 
The only thing that you need to do is install it on her computer. It will create a shortcut in the desktop, and The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection doesn't need to have Origin running or logged in to work. So, you can install it on her computer and then keep using Origin (and the game) on yours without any problem.
And no, I don't think you can be logged in Origin from two computers at the same time. Logging in one will log you out from the other. But for The Sims 2 that isn't a problem, as it doesn't really need Origin after it's already installed.

Hello AnokSuNaMun,
Unfortunately, many people haven't seized the opportunity back then and re-deemed the free code for the Ultimate Collection for The Sims 2. And from what I've seen, lots of people haven't even heard from that giveaway.
Yes, you folks should be able to play that game at the same time, since TS2 doesn't require Origin to be open. That said, I will also soon start working on TS2, in preparation of a possible re-release of the game by G4TW.

Please take note of my descriptions and remarks in that thread. But for now, of course, "sharing" the Origin account is definitely the easier solution.

hi again ty guys for responding so promptly. just one follow up question....should i delete the first game thats on her laptop . or would the game somehow merge and go to the right places..oh one more..what is the best way to share the game with other people..especially the folks who were not able to receive their game.

Yes, I'd recommend you un-install the existing games and then re-boot the computer (to finish the un-installation). After you which you can then download and install the "Ultimate Collection" of TS2.

Haha, I bet they will have lots of fun with that "Ultimate Collection" of The Sims 2 (after all, it has ALL expansions and stuffpacks of TS2).
