Sims 4 crashes with origin error Empty Sims 4 crashes with origin error

I could use the Sims 4 previous update without any problems , i didn't even need to install origin .
Since the new update is out ,and since i updated the game .. it crashes right after i try to execute it with the following error
"Unable to start: Origin is currently not running . Please make sure that Origin is running before attempting to play the sims 4" 
[d3382ced:984c6a38:00000000]
The game doesn't even start , the error appears on my desktop right after trying to access the game.
I tried installing origin and running it both offline/online and still getting this error.

Any idea what the problem is?

I have the same problem. It happened after update... The Sims 4 normally works before. I need help too.

Edit:
Ok, I fix it:) Try to restart your computer after patch installation:)

Did you make sure that your anti-virus didn't "clean" those files ? For now, please add the download location of your internet browser downloads (Chrome/Firefox) to the "exclusions" too.

Then re-download and re-apply the fix. Good luck !
