Nothing changed after ultimate fix

HI! I just recently installed sims 4 then I applied the ultimate fix. My game still works but nothing changed at all. No pools and no new careers at all. Help Why God.

I did what the instruction said and I don't even have an antivirus software.
One more thing, it seems that I can't install the vcredist x64 it shows this in the log file

Do you know how to configure your anti-virus program correctly ? Missing content is usually due to the Ultimate fix being wrongly applied or "deleted" by anti-virus software.

Note that you should not only add the actual install location of the game to the "exclusions", but also the folder where your internet browser downloads get saved. ANd you should THEN also re-download the Ultimate fix and re-apply it.

When applying the Ultimate fix, please make sure to choose "copy and replace for all files". And when you are prompted to merge folders, click always on "yes".

P.S. you cannot apply the vcredistx64, because your Windows operating system is a 64-bit version. No need to worry about that, then.

thank you so much! Sorry for the late update but it's all good now my only problem now is that it keeps on crashing every time I'm saving my game. It's probably because I've got lots of mods, I think? WhatDidUJustCallMe?

You can find this option in Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings. Choose the setting that I marked with an arrow in the screenshot ! (the one named "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"). The click on "Apply and then on "OK".

Now re-boot the computer ! After the re-boot, play on and see if anything improved. Good luck !
