Need help with sims 3 fix

so i download the fix and did everything up to the point where you update the launcher when I try to update it won't let me I click on it and nothing happens i try a couple more times still nothing i wait to see if anything will happen and nothing did please someone help me

Hello,
First of all, make sure you have Origin (used to be EA downloadmanager) installed and unblocked in your firewall.

yeah i have origin and the firewall was allowed

yep i did it and i still gave me an error i redid it about 3 times same results

Then I'm afraid you'll first need to apply the Ultimate Fix correctly. You probably copied some of the files to a wrong directory.
