Houses not loading??? [SOLVED]

I downloaded the game. Everything seemed to be running fine. I created a household and picked a house for them to move into but now the screen loads for a couple and then returns to the neighborhood. Any household or build mode I try to enter does not let me play. So I can only basically build the sims and stare at the neighborhood!
please help!

You are supposed to open a NEW thread, instead of posting under someone else's topic. But this might help you:

Note that you need to familiarize yourself with whatever anti-virus you have, in order to configure the exclusions properly. Most likely your anti-virus program is messing with your crack.
One more thing: don't post your game issues on my "visitor messages wall" please. Do you see me answering messages there ?
