and yes the 1.4.83.1010 update is released by reloaded

It's OK. I deleted all those posts (including my reply) from the Ultimate fix-topic.
The idea is that "Forumotion" (the ones who pay for the hosting of the forum) don't like stuff like posting warez/torrent links. It could even get the forum closed, and in that case, we couldn't do anything about it.It is possible to host our own forum on the "download server", yes, (maybe even with a different forum software than this current "phpbb"-forum). But all of this costs money: not just the actual server costs, but also the license (and updates) for a different forum software (like XenForo or vBulletin).
If we hosted our own forum and managed to get the money for it, then yes, a few things would be easier. But the disadvantages are this:
- security concerns: if the software "breaks", glitches or if someone attempted to hack into it, we would have to correct this on our own. Meaning: more additional work. On our current forum, all of these things are done by "Forumotion", in case something goes wrong.
- in the short-term at least, we'd all have to get used to a "different look" unless we use the same color theme.
- more complex administration panel (OK, this is mainly relevant for Admin and lady
).- and again, the price. There are various "subscriptions" you'd have to choose from, like 1-year, 2-year, 5-year or so on subscriptions. I'm not sure what exactly these other forum software thingies cost, but in the end, it's additional budget that is needed. And remember: we are NOT getting paid by anybody for anything we do on here.
