Sims 4 Need help - entry point not found Empty Sims 4 Need help - entry point not found

Hey! I have been working on getting Sims 4 up and running for the past day but I keep running into problems. The error I am stuck on is:
Entry point not found - "the procedure entry point_except1 could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR120.dll"

I have uninstalled and re-installed both microsoft visual programs (64 and 86)
I have made exceptions for all files in my anti-virus program
I have tried completely removing and re-installing both Sims 4 and the ultimate fix

I'm not sure what else to try but i would appreciate any ideas or tips.

I did try this on my second installation. No luck, I got the same result

Did you install vcredist both of them in the support\vc\redist. That is what worked for me

Sorry to hear about that, but can you also make an exception in your anti-virus for the download folder of your internet browser stuff ? Namely the stuff that you download with Chrome/Firefox ?

And then, re-download the Ultimate fix and re-apply it. Good luck again !
