Game stops working as soon as I hit play Empty Game stops working as soon as I hit play

I usually pause right away, and one time I didn't it stopped working. I tried again getting rid of some CC and built a house, and although it was laggy, it worked. I was done, I hit play and it stopped working immediately. I don't know why..My crack is up to date, with yours. Please help.

Did you do anything 'special' before this crashing happened ? Assuming your game worked before, something must have changed either on your system or your game (e.g. added mods/custom content, etc.).


Also go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete the following stuff:


-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"


Re-start the game then and see if anything improved. Good luck for now !
