Game stops working. [SOLVED]

Hi...soo i updated my game to 1.57 and installed the last expansion pack and when i click so that i can play it appears some window saying that "i have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match my current version of the sims 3". I have options to quit the game or to continue. i go continue and the game starts and i play like 10 min and then it freezes and it stops working. And this happens to all expansion packs. I'm knew so please help me Embarassed

Check your Mods. If you use nointro or nointroMaxis, get rid of them. They haven't been updated for 1.57. Good Luck!

I'm fully updated, have nointroMaxis mod in my modfolder and my game loads perfectly fine. It must be another mod that's *Lunatic* hasn't gotten a update yet of.

Hello,

Either remove outdated mods or you haven't correctly applied steps 2-4 of this guide. Even if you have done that, you should redo the steps again.

If you don't understand the guide, I will explain it here:

(1) Download and apply the manual patch mentioned in the guide.
(2) Download the Ultimate Fix.
(3) Open the Ultimate Fix with WinRAR.
(4) Drag and rop the contents of the folder "#crack" in the Ultimate Fix to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin (OR C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game]Bin if you installed The Sims 3 via Origin).

Ok. I started re downloading the manual patch and the ultimate fix so that I could redo 2-4 steps again but meanwhile about those mods...so I have both of them The sims 3 and the Maxis mod..but how can I get rid of them?

Hello,

The mods can be located in C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages (remove all mods except the store fix). If there is anything in Mods\Overrides, please remove them (except the store fix).
