I download Sims 4 from games4theworld then halfway through installation this pops up help please. Sims 4 base installation error message. [SOLVED] Setup%20fail

Hello and welcome to the forum,


Did you use WinRAR to extract the files from the .RAR download ... ? Get WinRAR from this site here:
http://games4theworld.org/downloads.html


And make sure to extract the contents of the .RAR files, into ONE empty folder. Re-start the installation, from within that folder with the extracted contents. Good luck for now !

I extracted the sims 4.rar but there are other rar files located in the folder called setup1, setup2, setup3, setup4 and setup5 extract these also?

No, you don't. Wink  Just extract the main "Sims 4.rar" into a empty folder, and start the setup.exe from THAT folder then.
