Sims 4: CC Problem. [SOLVED]

Hello!

     I have problems with CC and Mods. I already placed them in the correct folders and in opening the game, I see that they are detected, but whenever I go to CAS I don't see the clothes but when I go to the Gallery in the My Library Tab, I can see the clothes there. It only happens with only some of the clothes but the others work pefectly. And also the hair I downloaded works. I really don't know why it's happening and I also tried turning off Laptop Mode but it's still invisible.

    Oh, and also, in downloading households in the Gallery, I noticed some of the CC they used disappears too? I like for example the Custom Hair disappears and the sim becomes bald. Is that normal and do I need to download the CC they used too?

With Sims from the Gallery you need to read the notes/comments for each one as they sometimes have links to the CC Hair etc they used. If you dont check and get the custom hairs/clothes etc then yep your downloaded sim will be bald and wont have the clothes.
Also note that if you get lots you will need to do the same thing and also check to see if they mention anything about Move Objects On, bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement, testingcheats on, etc or you will get a message about items being removed.
People are using CC for these things from MTS, TSR, Tumblr, blogs etc. That being said even if you download your Sims/Lots from MTS or TSR you still need to read the notes to see if you need anything for them to show up as in the screenshots.

Oh thanks! How about my other problem? I have already downloaded the CC needed and I already placed them in the Mods or the Tray folder. They are detected in the game but whenever I open CAS the clothes are missing and I only see the head and feet. What should I do?

Sounds like its corrupt, try redownloading the cc and check the notes and comments to see if others are experiencing similar issues with the CC in question. Theres always going to be bad cc at some stage. I have a piece that warps the character model I downloaded from somewhere but seeing as I combined all my CC into one package I cant be bothered to go through and find it.
Also delete your localthumbcache.package which is in the main directory above the mods folder. Try this step first though.

Hi! Checked the website and turns out it's the CC's fault. I think it is corrupted. Some are actually having the same problem. Thanks so much for the help!
