Yesterday i was able to play sims 4 for like 6 hours on windowed mode on my virtual machine on my mac, and today everytime i click resume playing on my family it not only crashes the game, but it crashes my virtual machine and i have to restart it and if i keep trying the same thing happens again.
Is there a way to fix this (if this happens to people playing on actual windows)

Hello and sorry for the late reply,

I'm guessing it has to do with your virtual machine and/or the Mac OS system, and not so much with the game itself. Did you install any Windows updates in the virutal machine or did anything else system-related on your Mac... ?

The only thing beyond that, which I can offer, is the DEP fix, which often fixes problems with the game/application itself:

You can find this option in Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings. Choose the setting that I marked with an arrow in the screenshot. The click on "Apply and then on "OK".

Now re-boot the computer ! After the re-boot, play on and see if anything improved.

Note that if your virtual machine crashes, this fix might not help you though...but good luck for now !
