Can't run Sims 4 w/o Origin, tried everything

I should give some specifics to diagnose the problem better. I was using the 3DM version before the expansion came out, and since I can't have Origin running to get it to work, I installed the G4W version of Get To Work. Then I uninstalled the entire thing, downloading G4W's files for the base game, but that doesn't fix the problem either. Then I uninstalled Origin and removed all its registry and ccache files, but that didn't do anything either. I tried to run it with and without Ultimate Fix, and it still gave me the same problem.

I tried installing the game on an different computer, and it works without Origin running with zero problems. I should note that trying to run with just the base game gave me an initialization error instead. Installing the expansion gives me the "Origin not running" error. As far as I'm aware of, the only anti-virus I have is Avast, and I've added the game to the exceptions and I've tried running the game with Avast disabled. I've also added to exclusions for the firewall (Windows Firewall) and tried running the game without it.

I don't know what's causing this problem then. Is it because I used a 3DM version of the game before? Or is it because I updated Origin after installing the expansion? I've looked through the forums and other people's solutions haven't helped Please help me fix this problem.
