Game keeps crashing

Hoping somebody can help me, I play my Sims 4 game fine for an hour or so, then after that period of time the screen goes black and I hear a continuous buzzing noise. The game has frozen/crashed in some way. This is happening repeatedly now. I try to save every ten minutes or so but still end up with unsaved data almost every time due to this. Thanks in advance for any responses.

This doesn't sound like an error with the sims, more to with your computer. Where is the buzzing noise coming from?

I think it's coming from my speakers. If it is my computer, what could be causing it to behave like this? I don't have the issue with other games, which is why I assumed it was Sims related ... Thank you!

Do you have the correct system requirements for TS4?
Has it been happening recently (after an update) or since you ran it?
Do you any mods or CC?

Now that you mention it, it seems to have been happening since the latest update via Origin. I believe I do have the correct system requirements - the legit game I bought previously ran with no problems. Not using any mods or CC. Hope this helps, and thanks again!
