Scientist Career Crash Issue

Hi everyone, 

I have an issue with the Scientist career in GTW. Every time I click 'Join' the game starts loading to go to work, but then it crashes. I have no idea how to fix it and I would love to play as a scientist. My game only crashes when I try to do this. Please help!

Yeah, I have the same problem. There was another thread mentioning this, and that EA was aware and trying to fix it in a patch or something, but the ultimate fix hasn't been updated in forever. Hopefully it will be soon, because I haven't gotten the scientist career to work at all.

Do the following: Turn off Laptop Mode, OR take out the OptionsNIN in the documents folder. That solved it for me.
