Cannot Download Manual Patch. [SOLVED] Empty Cannot Download Manual Patch. [SOLVED]

I Tried both links provided for PC on the patch download page.
the Mega file stops downloading at 99%. I tried downloading the mega add on for firefox. Still doesn't work.
The other link does not work at all, give me an unable to connect message.

I am trying to install the sims 3 from the base game on up to a few expansions and stuff packs.
I have only gone as far as downloading the sims 3 and installing it. I am at the step of applying the manual patch.

Thanks for any help.

Hello and welcome to the forum,


I guess you downloaded (in the past) some sort of crack that blocks the connection to EA-servers. But before we start messing with the "hosts"-file, try this:

Press CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE, while in your internet browser. In the following window (depending on the exact wording) select "delete cache" and "delete cookies" too. Confirm the deletion. After that, close the browser and re-open it. Now try re-downloading from MEGA. Also, try re-downloading at different times of the day, or even with a different internet browser.


P.S. did you download the "Complete Collection" of TS3, from G4TW ? If so, the manual patch is included there in the #crack-folder already.
