TS4 downloaded but just a shortcut w/ no real application? [SOLVED]

Hello, thank you for reading my question.

I've been trying to download the game since yesterday when I occured a problem. The actual game isn't downloaded? For instance, Everything is downloaded where it's supposed to be (C:Program Files x86:Electronic Arts:The Sims 4) However the game isn't there. There's no .exe even, just the shortcut.

I took screenshots, but it won't let me add them because I'm new.

How the file looks:
Like a blank ish shortcut file.

The message:
"Windows is searching for TS4.exe. To locate the file yourself, click Browse."

Whats in the game/bin folder:
Everything except the exe. (i see the dlls and the core, res...etc) The only thing that is weird is that instead of an .exe I see TS4.par


I followed the installation guide, (there was only three steps, how hard could it be), and I rebooted my computer, tried to install it three mores times to no avail. I deep searched the forums but no one else seems to be having this problem, as i can't even start the game because there is no game. I checked the ultimate fix thread as well.

IT WAS MY ANTI-VIRUS, OMG HOW COULD I BE SO OBLIVIOUS.

I FORGOT I HAD AVAST ON, AS I ALWAYS RUN IN SILENT MODE. SO IF ANYONE HAS MY PROBLEM TURN OFF YOUR ANTI-VIRUS.
