Neighborhoods issue with Origin Empty Neighborhoods issue with Origin

Post by Guest Sun 26 Jul 2015, 20:20

Hi! First I'd like to say that I'm not sure if this is in the right place because I'm new. Second, you guys are sooooo awesome. I have the base game for Sims 3, World Adventures, Generations, Late Night, and High End Loft Stuff through Origin, but I have Seasons, Supernatural, Pets, Town Life Stuff, and University through you guys and it totally rocks! Now to my predicament:

I just downloaded the .rar files for Aurora Skies and Midnight Hollow and the Store Fixes and followed the instructions in the .pdf, but when I open my game (through Origin because it won't let me without it, as far as I know) but it doesn't say that I have the neighborhoods. It still shows them as purchasable with points in the neighborhood drop-down menu. I wasn't sure if there was something I missed doing through one of the Origin files or not, so I figured I'd ask. Thanks again! -CJ

Hello and welcome to the forum,

How did you install those worlds ? If you downloaded them from G4TW, you should end up with .sims3pack files, which you should put in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads. Then open the launcher, and install the worlds from the "Downloads"-tab there.

Other than that I'm unsure. You could still try the workaround that is described here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t2208-sims3pack-installed-world-inaccessible-or-wont-install-fix

But keep in mind that after doing that, you will need to re-install ALL your .sims3pack files again. Good luck though ! Smile
