about sims mod

hi, most of the times it won't hurt the game but sometimes it causes crashing too!
you can try it though! and if it did crash your game or made other problems, simply remove the mod and the game should work alright again.
how to put the mod in your game:
it depends whether the mod is a script mod or it's normal. you can understand this from the website you are downloading the mod from. it is usually written whether the mod you are downloading is scripted or not.
if your mod is scripted after downloading it (it is a zipped file), you should put the zipped file in the mod folder of your game which is usually in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods (do not unzip it, just put the whole zip file in the mod folder)
but if the mod is not scripted when you downloaded it, extract the files in the main zip file in the mods folder (the files of normal mods are usually .package type that are in a zip file which you should extract)

If it's a lot, the file should not be scripted. However, you must download and place all he .package files on the lot into your Mods folder.
There should also be tray items, which go into your tray folder, when downloading a lot.
