the sims 3 not working

whenever I start the sims 3 after max 5 min there is a black screen . The whole computer stucks. I have to restart it.It only happens with the sims 3 and its expansions
After installing a new sims 3 the black screen problem went away.I used a patch to update it. The patch was from this website. After updating sims 3 stopped working. It dosent start and dosent displays an error

Hi,
What patch did you use? Can you confirm it was the LATEST version? (Which is 1.67 at the moment)
If it was another version, you must re-download and re-apply the latest version!
So if you can confirm the patch was correct, please do step 3-6 from this page: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly#
DO NOT SKIP ANY STEPS! DO re-download the Ultimate Fix.
If that didn't fix your issue, please try backing up (!) and removing this folder completely: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\
